CHEM 272 - Organic Chemistry Laboratory

General Education Category: MTA Natural Sciences Lab
This course is designed for students (in majors such as chemistry, pre-med, and pre-pharmacy) who require more than one credit of organic lab. It gives students experience with the chemicals, techniques, and equipment commonly employed in organic laboratories. Particular attention is given to compounds and reactions studied in CHEM 251 and CHEM 252 .

Prerequisite(s): Minimum 2.0 in CHEM 251
Placement Scores: Reading Level 5 and Writing Level 6
Recommended: CHEM 252 concurrently
