ANTH 300 - Applied Field Survey Methods

This course introduces the methods used to collect and analyze archaeological data in hands-on field and lab settings. Students will learn survey techniques used in archaeology, incorporating skills in geography, geology, and geospatial science. Skills emphasized include site mapping, controlled excavation, on-site documentation, artifact curation, and geospatial data analysis. The course includes a field internship at an active archaeological survey location.

Prerequisite(s): Minimum 2.0 in ANTH 276  or concurrently
