CJUS 250 - Correctional Institutions

This course examines the historical development of corrections institutions in the United States. The organizational structure, purpose, programs, security aspects, and prisoner due-process rights, as well as the future of institutions will be examined. This course is required for the correctional officer vocational certificate.
