CJUS 131 - Introduction to Corrections 3 Credit Hour(s) / 3 Billing Hour(s) An introduction to the agencies and processes within the correctional system. An examination of correctional officer behavior, corrections legislation, the courts, correctional institutions and their operation, and administration. Includes overview of history sentencing, probation, parole, and community corrections. This course is required for the corrections officer vocational certificate.
