DENT 174 - Clinical Dental Hygiene II 1 Credit Hour(s) / 4 Billing Hour(s) This course provides a continuation of clinical skills, patient assessment, treatment and appointment scheduling, preventive techniques and application of dental hygiene procedures. Work-based instruction helps students synthesize new knowledge, apply previous knowledge, and gain experience managing workflow. Practical experience is simultaneously related to theory. Direct supervision is provided by clinical faculty in a clinical setting.
