HUSE 242 - The Family: Addiction/Violence

This course provides a holistic conceptual framework to understanding the interplay of substance misuse with violence across the family life cycle. Attention is brought to the many factors of substance misuse and violence. Assessment, intervention, the role of treatment, and broad-spectrum human services are discussed. This course aligns with the Council for Standards in Human Services Education.
