This course includes the biochemistry of carbohydrates, lipids, proteins, respiration, and photosynthesis. Prokaryotic and eukaryotic cell structure and function, molecular genetics, regulation of gene expression, and biotechnology are explored. Laboratory stresses techniques of cell and molecular biology and molecular genetics.
