Examines theoretical and empirical literature related to adolescence, emphasizing biological, psychological, and sociological aspects of maturation and development from puberty to young adulthood. Topics include the adolescent’s search for identity; influences of culture, family, school and peer group; and problems and pathologies in adolescence.
