EMTA 122 - EMT Skills

This course is the second of three courses to prepare the student as a Basic Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). Emphasis is placed on practical material including airway management, patient assessment, CPR, soft tissue injuries, head, chest, and abdominal injuries, and proper use of equipment in the delivery of basic emergency care.

Prerequisite(s): Program Approval is required
Placement Scores: Reading Level 5 and Writing Level 6
Corequisite(s): EMTA 121 and EMTA 125
