METS 130 - Industrial Hydraulics

4 Credit Hour(s) / 6 Billing Hour(s)
Industrial hydraulics introduces the theory of fluid power and circuits covering pumps, pressure valves, flow valves, cylinders, filters and motors, etc., as they are used in industry today. This will be done with lectures and labs related to each of the respective components.

Semesters Offered: Spring
Prerequisite(s): Minimum 2.0 in (METS 102 or DCTM 102  or ELTE 102 or HVAC 102 or TECH 102  or WELD 102 or concurrently)
Placement Scores: Reading Level 4 and Writing Level 4 and Math Skills Level 10 (College-Ready with Support)
