METM 190 - Metallurgy and Heat Treatment

This course introduces the science of metallurgy, a domain of materials science that studies the physical and chemical behavior of metallic elements. Students acquire a working knowledge of the properties, uses and heat treat processes of commonly used metals and alloys. Topics are explored through lecture and laboratory analysis.
