ELTE 145 - Electrical Prints for Building 4 Credit Hour(s) / 5 Billing Hour(s) Covers construction prints emphasizing standard and nonstandard symbols and interpretation of prints. Uses the National Electrical Code to calculate branch circuit, motor circuit, and feeder sizes. Other topics include industrial loads, uninterruptible power supplies, and signaling systems.
Semesters Offered: Fall Prerequisite(s): Minimum 2.0 in ELTE 141 Placement Scores: Reading Level 4 and Writing Level 4 and Math Skills Level 10 (College-Ready with Support) Recommended: Minimum 2.0 in ELTE 121 or ELTA 120 or equivalent. Course Note: This course requires 2 additional lab hours that need to be arranged with the instructor and ELTE lab staff. It is recommended that students attend the additional instructor led lab period assigned to your specific section. Students who choose to utilize the ELTE open lab times to satisfy the arranged lab time, should be aware that the instructor may not be present during this time to answer questions. $10 of the Course Fee is non-refundable.
