ELTE 129 - Machine Controls I - A
2 Credit Hour(s) / 2.5 Billing Hour(s)
This course covers the first half of ELTE 131 and ELTE 130 will cover the second half. Together they emphasize relay logic and controls using industrial standards. Use of correct symbols and standard construction of wiring and ladder diagrams is emphasized. Laboratory exercises include an exploration of three phase power systems; wiring three-phase motor control circuits utilizing two- and three- wire control; interfacing with fluid power control circuits; non-contact sensors; and timers. Troubleshooting skills are emphasized throughout the course.

Prerequisite(s): Minimum 2.0 in (ELTE 108 or ELTE 110 or concurrently)
