LEGL 229 - Immigration Law

This course covers fundamental principles and practical application of Immigration Law with emphasis on the paralegal’s role. Topics will include sources, history, and future of immigration law, visas, citizenship, refugee/asylum, removal and defenses, impact on other areas of law, and working with clients from cultures around the world.

Prerequisite(s): Minimum 2.0 in LEGL 115 or concurrently
