GSCI 210 - Global Positioning Systems
3 Credit Hour(s) / 4 Billing Hour(s)
This course covers the basic principles necessary to set up, operate, and run a Global Positioning System (GPS) receiving station, as well as collect information with a receiver. Data collection will be incorporated into a computer database program. The information link with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and the use of GPS in GIS will be demonstrated.
