IRXT 116 - Patient Care in Radiography

Concepts of optimal care for the physical and psychological needs of the patient and family. Fundamental procedures for routine patient identification, patient education, communication, standard precautions, aseptic techniques, infection control, venipuncture, and vital signs. Emergency patient care procedures are studied. Examination of the impact of a patient’s beliefs and culture on health care. CPR/BLS certification included.
