IDMS 200 - Sonographic Introduction 2 Credit Hour(s) / 2 Billing Hour(s) This course is an introduction to sonography including equipment history, criteria, limitations of ultrasound, and sonographer ethics. General information is provided regarding patient preparation, history/clinical correlation, and basic nursing care specific to ultrasound. Strong emphasis is placed on terminology and abbreviations most commonly used with ultrasound.
