NCEL 097 - ESL Listening-Speaking

Non-native speakers of English will develop effective listening and speaking skills for college and careers using real-life conversations, lectures, and presentations. Students will learn to communicate effectively by modifying their own speech to achieve conversational fluency and by applying strategies for communicating with different levels of formality, politeness, and directness. Co-enrollment in ESOL 098 or ESOL 099 is recommended.
