ACCG 215 - Financial Data Analytics 4 Credit Hour(s) / 4 Billing Hour(s) An overview of data analytics, focusing on the application of analytical and quantitative tools in business decision-making. Introduces students to the analytical techniques and tools used in collecting, cleansing, transforming, analyzing, visualizing, and communicating data in accounting, finance, marketing, and business management. Students gain hands-on knowledge of Excel and other analytical applications and tools supporting the use of data for decision-making.
Semesters Offered: Fall, Spring Prerequisite(s): Minimum 2.0 in ACCG 210 Placement Scores: Reading Level 5 and Math Skills Level 10 (College-Ready with Support) Corequisite(s): ACCG 211 Recommended: Basic knowledge of statistics Course Note:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel recommended, and access to Microsoft Excel is needed to complete required assignments.
